Tasting Notes:
Grown in the Haraz Mountains of Yemen, this offering is unlike most coffee from Yemen in that only perfectly ripe red cherries went through extra quality control steps at origin. In addition, the coffee was dried on Kenyan beds as opposed to the traditional method of drying on rooftops of the farmers homes. The extra care lends itself to a cleaner coffee than what you may have experiened with Yemen coffee before. Traditionally grown without pesticides and naturally rain-fed, this is still an exotic cup with strawberry, coconut, soft spices in the cup, but with a luxurious finish, thick, rich, and velvet-like. We are roasting this one light because a darker roast on this will distroy this special coffee. WE ARE ONLY ROASTING THIS COFFEE ON FRIDAYS UNTIL WE ARE OUT. So, if we don't have any roasted stock when you order on a Wednesday or Thursday, your order will not ship until the following Monday. (Please note, we are selling this coffee in 8oz bags.)
