Roast: Dark
Certification: Organic
Tasting Notes:
From central Ache near Lake Tawar, this Mandheling coffee is full-bodied and bold yet cleaner and less earthy than many coffees from Sumatra. Coffees grown in this region are known as Mandheling but locally, they are called Aceh Arabica. Typically, these beans contain less acidity than Lintong coffees.
Burkul Gayo comes from one cooperative, Permata who we have featured before. This coffee is a little diferent. Still thick and rich but more refined in character due in part to the additional prep and sorting (Double Picked) completed prior to export
